We’re down to our final four in the NFL playoffs as the Conference Championships fire up this weekend and we get what should be two really good games. It doesn’t matter which team or eventual Super Bowl match-up you are rooting for. All that matters is we’re looking to finish the 2024 NFL season strong and walk away with some extra cash playing DFS Pickem contests.

Between the picks in last week’s article and the video posted on the RT Sorts YouTube page, we had a pretty nice weekend for the Divisional Round. Yes, there were some surprises – Joe Mixon rushing for 88 yards and a touchdown against Kansas City and Dalton Kincaid being completely ignored in the Bills’ passing game, but we also hit on a number of picks as well. We just keep moving forward because time is running out on the season.

If you haven’t played the DFS Pickem format yet, let me help steer you along properly. It’s incredibly easy to play and a great opportunity to increase your bankroll throughout the season. All you do is make your picks for players to produce more or less than their designated stat line and if you are right, you can earn up to 40 times your wager (minimum wager of $1). Pick correctly for two players and you will 3x your money. Three correct picks will get you a 6x return, four is 10x and so on, up to 40x for six correct picks. You should give a look at the full contest rules, but that’s the gist of it for how to play.

Here are my favorites for the NFL Conference Championships:

Pick of the Week:

Jalen Hurts -- MORE than 180.5 passing yards

Sometimes it’s all about the value you’re getting and with Hurts’ passing yards, it’s all about value. OK, maybe there’s a little contrarian thought in there as well. If you’re looking around at where all the books have this number, you’ll see a range from 179.5 to 184.5 and the juice is obviously higher the lower the number gets, so we’re getting a good number here with a straight 1x multiplier. A lot of folks are down on Hurts because of his injuries and the heavy lean on Saquon Barkley, but if you’re Dan Quinn and Joe Whitt Jr., what’s your biggest concern? To slow down Barkley, of course. We’ve seen Hurts take his shots downfield and he’s thrown for more than this number nine times this season, including the first game against the Commanders back in Week 11 when he threw for 221 and Barkley still ran for 146 yards and two scores. I expect a similar offensive attack in this game.

Other Favorite Conference Championships Picks:

  • Zach Ertz MORE than 3.5 receptions
  • Isaiah Pacheco MORE than 32.5 rushing yards
  • Xavier Worthy MORE than 4.5 receptions

Also, be on the lookout for more DFS Pick Em picks on the RT Sports YouTube page. I usually swoop in with a few extra picks each week and throw them to you in video form!
