Kings of the Gridiron League Fantasy Football Rules & Regulations - 2025
- Our league will draft at the American Legion Post 108 located at 591 Main Street in Little Falls, Wednesday Sept 4th. No outside booze allowed...there are drink specials for us at the bar downstairs. I will order food.
- The draft will be 17 rounds. We will randomly select the draft order by 6:45. The draft will start at 7:00. The draft order serpentines from 1-10, 10-1, etc. You can keep an injured or suspended player on your bench as long as you like...there is no I/R.
- Each week you must play 1 QB; 2 RB; 3 WR/TE; 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE); 1 Team K; and 1 Team D/ST for a total of 10 starting roster spots. There are no roster maximums.
- The regular season is 14 weeks. Playoffs are weeks 15, 16 and 17 of the NFL regular season. Top 2 teams get a first-round bye.
- We use combined rushing and receiving yardage scoring as opposed to individual rushing and receiving scoring. This means players will receive bonus points for their total yardage gained, as opposed to separate rushing and receiving.
- Lineups need to be posted before kickoff for that day's games. For Thursday night or Thursday day games you need to post your lineup for those games only, prior to the kickoff. If you have players going on Thursday as well as Sunday and Monday, you do not need to put your entire roster in on Thursday, only the players who you are starting that day. You can post the rest of your roster for that week on Sunday or Monday.
- All trades need to be approved by me (Commissioner). Depending on the trade, I may poll the rest of the league for a majority vote to approve it. Trade deadline is prior to week 10 games.
- Adding free agents: please refer to the league bylaws on this site for free agent acquisition details. The waiver wire begins after week #1 games so draft wisely. This means making sure you have at least 1 of every position. If, after the draft, you realize you DID NOT draft a Kicker or Defense (for example), you go into week 1 without that roster spot. This is known as the Calzaretta Rule ;-)
- The cost is $200 due at the draft. Bring some extra cash for food, draft board girl tip and beverages of your choice.
- For weeks 11, 12, 13 & 14, the high scorer for each week will get $50
- The end of season prize money will be divvied up as follows:
1st place - $810 2nd place - $485 3rd place - $240 4th place - $65
Position Prize money = $1,600 - Weeks 11-14 high scorer = $200
Hall rental, pizza, draft board, RTSports = $250 (I paid for this instead in lieu of league fee)
