The Good Life Rules and By-Laws in our Head-to-Head League


(1). This is a 12 teams league. If we have to adjust the number of teams, it will be posted before we start. This will be Super Flex PPR League. Each Roster will be comprised of 16 players. Every team is to start 10 positions (1) QB (2) RB (2) WR (1) TE (2) Flex (RB, WR, TE) Flex (QB, RB, WR, TE) (1) Kicker and (1) Defense/Special Team. There will be (6) bench players per team that can be held on your roster at all times. The season will end after week 17. Week 18 will be a money week. $100 to the high game that week.

All owners are responsible to replace a player or players each week that is (listed as out) or is off because of their bye week. All team owners expected never to leave an empty spot in their line-up. No exceptions! Insert a player on your roster or drop and pick someone up on the waiver wire. All moves are free, so there will be no reason to not start a full line-up. If your team for some reason has no one available on the bench by injury, or are on their bye, the commissioner will pick a player up for that team and start them. So please start a full line-up, some other team might need your team to win the game, so be fair to the other owners by always fielding a competitive line-up through the 17 weeks season. If there is a game cancelled for any reason during the season, we will used the average points scored for each player in your starting line-up. So, if they play the game at a later date. The points scored in that game will not apply to the game that was missed.

  
(2). All Player pick-ups and drop will be done on Wednesday's nights starting at 10:00 PM central time with our on-line waiver wire. The standings determine waiver wire order. Last place team will pick 1st.12th place team, to 1st place team is the pick-up order. All pickups and trades are free. Any team wanting pick-up a player after Wednesday waiver wire is completed may do so, starting at 9:00 am Thursday morning after Wednesday's wire. All the way up to 5 minutes before the start of each game. All players that are dropped each week cannot be picked up until the next weeks waiver wire. Teams that have players that have games that fall on Thursday night or Saturday games will have to be submitted by 5 minutes before game time of that game. All other starters have to be in line-up by 11:59 AM in Sunday's 1st game. If there is some reason an owner can't insert a player before the game starts, you can call the commissioner, and he will insert that player and notify the other team owner. Do not contact me after the game has started. I won't be able to help. Trades can be made any time before the start of the new week's games. Once the game starts no players on those teams can be traded that week. Trade Deadline is up to (Week 12). No trades can be made after week 12.

If there is anything that is in question on the rules or line-ups, the commissioner will have the final ruling on it.
 
(3) There will be no carry over of any players, kickers, or defensive/ST points from the previous week. If your player is on bye that week, remove him from your lineup, and insert a player on your beach or pick up someone. 
You must always start a defense and a kicker. If you don't have an extra Def. or Kicker on your bench, you are required to pick-up a defense or a kicker and drop someone from your team roster.


(4) Our Fantasy Points Scoring System we will use to determine each team's place in the standings. It is as follows. (2) points for your team, for a head-to-head win.  (1) point if your team is one of the top 6 high scoring teams of that week. If there is a tie in scoring between any teams that are in the top 6 scoring for the last points that week, then both teams will get 1 point each. If there is a tie in your head-to-head game, then we use the team with the most total yardage of the 8 position players started QB, 2 RB's 2 WR's and your 2 flex players, to determine who wins the game. That team will get the (2) fantasy points for the win. If both teams tie in their game, and both are in the top 6, then both teams will get the extra 1 fantasy point. (3) points are the most a team can receive each week. Teams that don't win their game or are not in the top 6 will get (0) fantasy points that week. The total Fantasy Points after each week's games, will determine our true order in the standings. Our standings will be posted under the page called From Commish. Click on Talk at the top of the web site page, and then click on From Commish. The standing will appear there, and they also will be posted on our message board in our league on our main RT sports website opening page. The league winner will be the team with the season most total fantasy points. If 2 teams have the same amount of fantasy point at the end of the season the 1st tie breaker will be total team points scored for the year, and if there still is a tie then we will use the head-to-head meetings during the season between those teams. There are no further tie breakers. If there still is a tie. Those teams will split the first and second place money. 

 

  
(5) The entry fee for each of the 12 team is $450. A total pot of $5400 will be paid out. Here's the breakdown of total money. League fee paid for web site $100. The team with the high single game for the year, will receive $100 bonus. All teams are entered in the NFL weekly picks. We will pay the top 3 spots.1st $150 2nd $100 3rd $50. Also, the last 3 weeks of the season we will pay $100 for the High game that week. If there is a tie in the high game, we will use the starters total yards to determine for win and the money. There is also the Last Team Standing money. Pick a team each week you think will win their game straight up. It pays out $350 for one team left. You have until Monday night's game to make your pick. If you do not make a pick because you forgot. Your team will be eliminated and no longer able to pick a team the rest of the tournament. The remaining prize money in the pot $4250, will be divided out and paid to the top 4 teams, which will be determined by Total Fantasy Points for the season.
