Cows ... why in god's name would you think that I have a "personal vengence" against Dirty D? That's idiotic. I've never even met the guy and couldn't tell you what his name is if you asked me. That being said rules or not, tanking is not the right thing to do. It's called respect for the game. I'm in 20 leagues in total and contrary to what you're suggesting this is the only league in which I saw this happen. You and "the Dirty" can talk about technical interpretations of the rules until the Cows come home (no pun intended), but I still maintain that it's just wrong ... and I don't have to have a "personal vengence" against the Dirty to feel that way. One more thing, I was in the same position as the Dirty in another league on RT Sports and even though I realized that I could have done exactly what he did, I did not because it's fun to win games without having to resort to little used technicalities that might give me a 4th pick instead of a 6th. If you resort to that fine a definition of "competing" then perhaps you're in the league for the wrong reasons.

Cows... i see your point. The system is flawed. I am in 5 dynasty leagues at rt sports and this was the only time i saw this happening this year , for what it's worth.
Still wrong on Dirty D part to take advantage of it. i'm still not sure how much of an advantage it really was.

Its like if someone designing a road made the road 3/4 the normal legal size and then people get in accidents because people are crossing the white dotted line. Sorry Cows ... I disagree. There is something called right and wrong and what he did is wrong for the good of the league ... and for what? So he can get a top 4 pick next year versus a top 6 pick? Really, put things in perspective, none of us do this for a living. We play for the competition and for the fun of it. It is not fun for anyone if people are going to try to find loopholes to screw everyone else. Ruining it for everyone else for the sake of the potential for 2 slots in a draft is the definition of self centered and wrong.

If you are unhappy about this, don't take your anger out on Dirty. He's only doing whats in his best interest which should be the right thing for all of us to do. RTsports is the one enabling this. Email RTsports and let them know they should change this rule.
He did it because the bottom 2 points total on season that didn't make playoffs get #1 and #2 seed in the consolation bracket who also get the bye. If you get a bye, you're guaranteed a top 4 pick. It sounds like Dirty is the only one who actually understands that here.... record doesn't effect anything. Unfortunately for him, that is also against the rules to tank on purpose to achieve this. The commish should step in and handle it. Also unfortunate that RTsports changed this rule 2 years ago because ever since people have been tanking due to this and its been really frustrating for everyone as you can all see. All they have to do is make #7 and #8 seed on the year be the people who get byes in the consolation bracket and then everyone would try the whole way through. Win win for everyone but we are here instead :(
